TI-99/4A VIDEOGAME HOUSE NEWS FROM 2003

DECEMBER 2003

O While I was not able to add a Christmas-themed cartridge to the site in time for December 25, I was able to add the port of the Atari 2600 classic Demon Attack. Super Demon Attack (Imagic) is now on-line, even though the title has "Super" in it, it actually is a port of the original Demon Attack, find out why on the Detail Page! (12/26/03 8:54 AM)

O What does the game The Attack and the movie ALIEN® have in common? Find out on the The Attack (Milton Bradley) Detail Page! (12/26/03 8:54 AM)

O If you like "Dodge 'Em" on the Atari 2600, then check out Car Wars (TI). This game is a clone of the arcade games "Crash!" by Exidy and "Head On" by Sega/Gremlin, both from 1979. (12/20/03 4:24 AM)

O Well, blow me down! The Popeye (Parker Brothers) Detail Page is now on-line! (12/14/03 8:30 PM)

O Just added the Hustle (Milton Bradley/Taito) cartridge to the site. Like Blasto, this game was a conversion of an unknown arcade game, which was put out in the arcades by Taito/Gremlin in 1977. (12/04/03 6:48 PM)

NOVEMBER 2003

O Hope everyone had a good Thanksgiving! I found the time to do a little more updating in addition to eating all that turkey, so I went ahead and added the Blasto (Milton Bradley/Sega) arcade conversion to the site. This is a little known 1978 Sega/Gremlin arcade port that is worth a look, regardless of the early graphics! (11/28/03 11:21 PM)

O In preparation for Thanksgiving, I figured I should add a food-themed game to the site. So what better game to call upon than Burgertime! I added the Burgertime (Data East) Detail Page, which includes a review taken from its Silver Medal win on Retrogaming Times (Colecovision won the Gold).  Check it out before you get too stuffed with turkey! Happy Thanksgiving!(11/26/03 9:40 PM)
